About the Artist

Hi, my name is Greg Chandler and I live in Burleson Texas with my beautiful wife Heather and my two boys Greyson and Brayden.  My wife is a huge help to me by giving me insight and critique on the various pieces I have in progress and I thank her for the help.  I currently work as for Autobahn Motorcars in Fort Worth, as a Firefighter/EMT in Rendon, and occasionally substitute teach for Everman ISD.

My designs are all unique and I am constantly trying to find new ways to challenge myself.  I create each piece by hand using metal snips, there are no power tools used in the plate design process.   You will never see two pieces that are alike as I try to vary my designs each time I make them.  I use different years and styles on every piece so you might find some with color, some that are mostly a rustic/vintage look, or a piece that has a blend of the current Texas design.

I am extremely proud to have my work on display at the Western Heritage Gallery in Denton, TX.  This is the worlds largest Western art gallery and it is full of unique items by very talented artists.

96.3 KSCS, a well known country/western radio station in the DFW area also has my work on display in their studio.  These items were custom ordered and will hopefully be in the background of pictures of the many famous artists that visit the studio.

You can view a great selection of these items at the Historic Camp Bowie Mercantile building on the Weatherford traffic circle in Fort Worth, Texas.  Pieces are also located at the Burleson Antique Mall, Mansfield Antique Mall,  Benbrook Antique Mall,  Kimberling Furniture,  Roscoe's Smokehouse and the Nashville Antique Mall in Burleson Texas.  Other very special contributors to Garage Creations are Marvin Electronics, The Car Guy Show, Fuzzy's Taco Stand, Grumps Burgers and Autobahn Motorcars.
